A Quilter's Perspective  
    From a Quilter’s Perspective is a talk on my personal view of patchwork and quilting, describing the development of my own favourite techniques.

 

From Pixel to Textile  
  A talk quilts describing the various methods of involving computer aided design into textiles.
   
Dolly Mixtures  
 

A talk about my approach to doll making, with  demonstrations and of course, my dolls

   
Workshops
Liberated Landscapes  
  Without using a ruler produce innovative quilt tops, small hangings or cushions inspired by landscape.
Liberated Traditions  
  As above but inspired by traditional patchwork designs
Pyramid Purses  
  Using my transferred designs, make a small and beautiful purse  and learn how to take your own digital designs into fabric pieces.

Sugar Plums

 
  Make a character doll, use as a pin cushion or just for fun.

Learn how to needle sculpt hands and face and discover how you might design your own art doll.

From Pixels to Textiles  
  A work shop to discover with me the fun  to be found by getting to know how to use your computer for creative experimentation and how to translate this into textiles.

Each student needs to have their own laptop.

Can be one, two or more days.
