Because The Cyclist Loves His Mom

This quilt was made for my cyclist son, Ian. It is very special because I incorporated several aspects of Ian's life, the love of Escher, cycling, the ability to draw cartoons and his journey through the Western deserts of America.

It was the culmination of my work on Perspective.
It is special to me also as I was Champion of Champions at the Great British Quilt Festival in 1999 with the quilt. 
It was also awarded a third at Quilts UK for large wall hanging
