I make textile pieces, mostly machine stitched and quilted, some are felted, I also exhibit digital images, sometimes using the textiles as part of complex images along with my photographs and art work. I also teach various textile workshops as well as giving talks,

I am a member of SiX, a group that exhibits textiles, drawings, mixed media, digital work, in fact whatever we are working with at the time. 

Nearing the end of 2011, maybe time to update my web site, sadly neglected recently.

You will notice a new link on the right, this is to the blog belonging to SiX and Friends, introducing some of the preparatory work for our next exhibition, Orientated.

We start with a date at the Needle Museum, Redditch in September 2012.

Sugar Plums

 Sugar Plums is a course to introduce beginner and intermediate doll makers to the skills of designing their own doll and needle sculpting while having fun creating a cheery fat lady.

Creative computing is a passion and I love teaching others to enjoy it too.

Sadly, there is no longer a suitable C&G course so my teaching will be limited to groups wanting to learn about digital design in relation to textiles either at at their own venue with laptops  or at my studio.

'Pixels to Textiles' is my course focused on gaining confidence manipulating photos and scans and using them creatively in your own textiles.

For details about booking a course at your own venue contact me, if there is a small group of up to six students who wish to have a studio class on computing, patchwork or doll making here in Herefordshire then a date can be negotiated
